PROJECT OUTLINE:

This stunning project included a full furniture fit out from head to toe! Supplying furniture, soft furnishings & styling items throughout. This partial renovation also included installing beautiful carpet, replacing lighting, tiles, vanities, window treatments, colour scheme & converting a bedroom into a studio. With the trust of the client we created a home with ‘a holiday vibe all year round’. A textural home of interest & style with furniture & styling pieces from a huge range of suppliers.

“I'd shifted islands, downsized to a much smaller property in a new city and sold the mostly 20yr old contents of the previous house, so I found myself with a smaller house, a bed, some artwork and my clothes!

I knew the basic style of home I wanted to create but needed help to turn my muddled thoughts into a cohesive plan and then actually execute the plan.

Katy was recommended to me and I was impressed from what I saw on her website and our first meeting. As well as being a delightful person, Katy took the time to understand me and the rather muddled ideas I had. Faced with a pretty blank canvas, she then proceeded to guide me gently through the whole project of creating my new home and I couldn't be happier with the result.

Whilst the structure remained mostly untouched and the budget restricted a full makeover of the kitchen and bathrooms, Katy suggested relatively inexpensive, but transformational changes to both. She also nailed new paint colours, carpet and window dressings throughout the house and found furniture options for me to consider, mostly from wholesalers i didn't even know about!

Being new to the city. I had no contacts with any trades-people, but fortunately Katy has a great team she called on.

All up, Katy is a gem, an expert in her field and I would recommend her to anyone looking for guidance on any aspect of interior design.”
